Digg Revolt 2007
I've never before witnessed the Digg community at large behave so passionately. Although the HD-DVD AACS processing key may only seem like a number, we're really fighting for our freedom of speech in a way.
UPDATE: This is insane. Literally every story on the front page is a story related to this HD DVD fiasco. How will the Digg administrators react? Surely they won't go so far as to go on a mass banning spree.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe this has EVER happened before.

This has been a fun day, I just really wish tomorrow the community could accomplish something productive. Reddit is a good safe haven for now. But their TOS basically allows them to do the same thing's digg did. We really need to get the pirate bay or someone to host a digg clone under a pledge of complete non-involvement on anything more than a algorithm level.
